Benefits of purchasing a Safpro catalogue product
- All catalogue products are held in stock at Safpro, and minimum stock levels are set against our entire catalogue range. E.g. a safety spectacle has a minimum stock level of 100, when this level is reached, a PO for replenishment is automatically sent to our supplier.
- Purchase from an evolving range of catalogue products. Safpro perform regular training sessions in partnership with manufacturers and leading industry organisations, exposing latest product development and innovation. The sales team are also safe supply accredited.
- Improved lead times: Our standard lead time for in stock PPE is 1-2 working days and our standard lead time for branded Workwear that is held in stock is 5-7 working days.
- Economies of scale: Our purchasing team harness our buying power on catalogue products to negotiate improved costings and product improvements, resulting in better value for money for the end user.
Disadvantages of purchasing a non-stock product
- Less control: If we do not stock a product you require, we have to order it in as a "special", this means we are reliant on supplier lead times. Checking and booking in of goods typically takes up to one day.
- Part shipments and longer lead times: Client Support will advise the approximate lead time of non-stock products and offer to part-ship the products that we hold in stock. This can lead to multiple deliveries and increased carriage costs.
